A Festival of Faith and Tradition

To celebrate 350 years of the Book of Common Prayer we held a short festival this autumn.

There was an exhibition at St. Giles’ for all visitors during the fortnight. The focus of our festival was three special choral evensongs at St. Giles’. We had the great privilege to welcome guest choirs for all three and Bishop John of Oxford for the finale.

Sunday 23rd September
9.00am BCP Morning Prayer at St. Giles’
6.30pm Special Choral Evensong at St. Giles’

Sunday 30th September
9.00am BCP Holy Communion at St. Giles’
6.30pm Special Choral Evensong with at St Giles’

Thursday 4th October
8.00pm ‘Is the Book of Common Prayer good news?‘ at St. Giles’

Sunday 7th October
9.00am BCP Holy Communion at St. Giles’
6.30pm Special Choral Evensong with the Choir of Eton College Chapel and the Bishop of Oxford at St. Giles’
