Pilgrim is a major new teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England. It aims to help every local church create a place where people can explore the Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out each day.
Pilgrim takes a different approach to other Christian programmes. It approaches the great issues of faith not through persuasion, but participation in a pattern of contemplation and discussion with a group of fellow travellers.
Pilgrim is comprised of two stages:
• the ‘Follow’ stage is intended for those very new to faith, or seeking. But in our experience of Pilgrim, the courses in ‘Follow’ are as valuable for those who have been believers for a long time as for those new to faith.
• and the ‘Grow’ stage for those who want to go further.
We will be running two Pilgrim courses in mid-February to early April (straddling Holy Week and Easter Sunday). Timing will probably be Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 1930-2100 either in the Coffee Shop in St. Andrews centre or in someone’s home.
Please contact Revd. Andrew Parry via the church office if you are interested.
