So many people visit St Giles’ Church each year.

Some come because of the poet Gray, others because this place played some part in their family history. Some come for peace and prayer, others because St Giles’ is the parish church of Stoke Poges. Many come because they love historical buildings and appreciate this beautiful place as a significant part of our cultural heritage.

For over a millennium this church has been cared for and developed as a place of worship at the heart of the community.

‘Friends of the Country Churchyard’ is intended to enable all those with a personal connection to St Giles and the churchyard to grow their link with us and invest for the future.
