Lent Evenings
“Transformed by the Presence of Jesus” – a series of Bible Studies based on the material written by Liz Babbs and including imaginative meditations.  Everyone is welcome to come along to The Vicarage on Wednesdays from 8pm on these 3 dates: March 4th “Walking with Jesus”, March 11th “Known by Jesus” and March 18th “Waiting for Jesus” and to St. Andrew’s Chapel on April 1st “Faith and Jesus”.

St. Andrew’s Chapel
Looking for a space for quiet prayer this Lent?  St. Giles’ is always open in daylight hours, but if you want something closer to the Village Centre then we are opening St. Andrew’s Chapel for quiet prayer between 10am and 12noon on weekdays for anyone who wishes to come along during Lent.  On Wednesdays we have a service of Holy Communion in this slot and you are very welcome to join us for that also should you wish.

The Bigger Picture

We are part of the Church of England and of the Deanery of Burnham and Slough. We seek to play an active part in the wider church. We are also keen to encourage good co-operation across denominational boundaries as we seek to be part of God building his kingdom.
