Looking Ahead

Lighthouse craft items

This year we are collecting loo roll tubes, cereal boxes, wrapping paper, coloured paper, glue sticks, felt tips, craft pipe cleaners and pony beads. Please bring to St Andrew’s office or give directly to Deborah Wetherall. For more information about Lighthouse, see this week’s blog post (click the red button above).

Bacon Sandwich Chefs needed

Please let Kate know if you can help to cook the bacon sandwiches at St Andrew’s on any of the following Sundays: 7th July, 4th August, 6th October, 3rd November, 1st December.

Talking Jesus Conference with Bishop Alan 20th July 2019 9:30am – 12:30pm. All welcome, hosted by Burnham & Slough Deanery at St Mary’s Hitcham SL1 7DP. Online registration essential by 15th July via this link.

Bishop Alan will talk about the importance of sharing our faith, the puppets will be making an appearance, plus a chance to share your own stories.

Cleaning, cleaning and a bit more cleaning!

In order to keep both of our churches spick and span or at least fit for human habitation, we have a small amount of paid cleaning time for St Andrew’s “high traffic areas” but the rest falls to a few people who have been faithfully serving in this way for a long time and really could do with your help. For the hale and hearty: some mopping, sweeping, hoovering and wiping at both churches and for the less energetic, a little light dusting and brass cleaning at St Giles’. If we can get several people in small teams on a rota, it will only be a couple of hours per month. Please contact Kate if you can help.
