This Sunday we continued our
Sermon Series looking at ‘Jesus’.
Chris Wood preached on

Sir Francis was one of the
best remembered figures of Tudor
England.  An experienced seafarer,  he successful circumnavigated the world  between 1577 and 1580.

We will be starting a new group in September.

Family Service and Barbecue

On Sunday 7th September we will having a Family Communion Service at St. Giles’ at 10.30am followed by a barbecue behind the church.  This is a church family event and all are invited.  Invites will be going out shortly but do put the date in your diary.

Grand Day Out Saturday 20th Sept

A chance for the whole diocese to get together in Oxford.  For full information about the day see Grand Day Out.  Booking is required so contact the church office – a group will be going from Stoke Poges.

Farewell to Bishop John 28th Sept

There will be no evening service on Sunday 28th September but the Deanery are going to be gathering at St. Andrew’s Wraysbury to say goodbye to Bishop John.  This event starts at 4pm with a service followed by a hog roast and bbq.  Numbers are required for catering purposes by the 1st September.  Please contact the Church Office if you would like to attend.
